Data destruction you can trust

Worried about what's on your old drive? Good — you should be. We sanitise every device before resale or recycling:

  • HDDs: multi-pass overwrite (NIST SP 800-88-style Clear), verified.
  • SSDs: firmware secure erase where supported.
  • Dead drives: physical destruction, recorded.
  • Phones/tablets: accounts signed out, full factory reset.

Get a certificate of erasure for any job. Your privacy obligations under the Privacy Act 2020 are taken seriously — we collect the minimum and never retain device data.

Is drop-off really free?

Yes, for households — that's how we get our stock. We make money by refurbishing and reselling, not by charging you to drop off.

What happens to my data?

Every data-bearing device is wiped (or physically destroyed if it can't boot) before resale or recycling, using NIST-style methods. You can request a certificate of erasure.

Do you take CRT monitors or old TVs?

Not currently — CRTs need a specialist stream. Flat monitors are fine.

Do refurbished items come with a warranty?

Yes — a 3-month store warranty on function, plus a 14-day return policy, on top of your Consumer Guarantees Act rights.

Can you pick up from my business?

Yes — scheduled pick-ups from $150 in West Auckland, with an asset register and erasure certificates. Contact us for a quote.

Where do unfixable items go?

To a permitted downstream e-waste recycler in Auckland, with receipts kept. Nothing recyclable goes to landfill.
